Field Operations Miami, FL · On-site Full-time
Field Integration Engineer
Own the physical deployment of Vivo Control across communities — from wiring survey to a live, resident-ready system.
About the role
Vivo Control is deployed in the real world — at gates, lobbies, elevators, and parking structures across dozens of communities. As a Field Integration Engineer you own that physical layer: you survey a property, design the access-point plan, install and commission the hardware, and hand over a system that just works. You're the bridge between our software and the concrete-and-copper reality of a building.
What you'll do
- Run site surveys: map entrances, wiring condition, network, and access-point count.
- Design and document the deployment plan for each property.
- Install and commission intercom panels, readers, controllers, and cameras.
- Configure the system, migrate residents, and verify every door and gate.
- Train property managers and hand over clean documentation.
- Be the escalation point when a field issue needs a human on-site.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years installing low-voltage / access-control / security systems.
- Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and working in electrical/IT closets.
- Networking fundamentals (IP, VLANs, PoE).
- Bilingual English/Spanish — you’ll work with crews and residents in both.
- Valid driver’s license; comfortable traveling across the metro area.
Nice to have
- Experience with intercom or IP-camera platforms (2N, Axis, Hikvision, etc.).
- Familiarity with gate operators and elevator control interfaces.
- Certifications in low-voltage or security systems.
